Her Story
About Hayat
Hayat Mohammad is a Holistic Coach and Transformational Practitioner and founder of Healspace, specializing in transpersonal psychology, trauma-informed care, somatic healing, and integrative energy practices. She holds a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology (MATP) from Sofia University and works at the intersection of energy medicine, mindfulness, spirituality, and psychological healing. Her approach combines somatic awareness, contemplative practice, compassionate inquiry, dreamwork, and expressive arts to support individuals navigating trauma, identity fragmentation, and existential or spiritual crises. Her journey into transformational coaching began as a visual artist who traveled internationally facilitating workshops and creative experiences for trauma survivors. Through this work, she became increasingly interested in the human psyche and began exploring energy-based healing practices, including Reiki, which led to profound personal experiences that deepened her curiosity about consciousness and healing. Following a significant life transition in 2017, including the end of a 24-year marriage, she became committed to understanding the relationship between psychological healing, emotional trauma, and spiritual development. This path led her to pursue formal study in transpersonal psychology while working in a mental health nonprofit during the post-pandemic period. In her professional practice, Hayat has witnessed the transformative impact of integrative approaches, including clients experiencing meaningful relief from long-standing emotional challenges through trauma-informed, somatic, and holistic methods. These experiences inspired her to establish her own practice, where she blends energy work such as Reiki with psychological frameworks to support whole-person healing. She believes true transformation requires addressing both the emotional-psychological and spiritual dimensions of the individual. Drawing from her lifelong intuition, lived experience, and professional training, she is dedicated to helping others reconnect with their inner wisdom, reclaim personal power, and create a more authentic and meaningful life experience.

Ten minutes with Hayat
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a long and deeply personal healing journey that helped me understand and transform layers of trauma history. Early in life, I experienced internal struggles that I did not yet have language for, which led me to seek understanding beyond conventional systems and ultimately find more holistic and alternative approaches to healing. Through this process, I developed greater self-awareness and learned to trust my intuition and dreams, which have always been a strong part of who I am, even when I didn’t fully understand it. Connecting with research, communities, and practices focused on consciousness and intuitive development helped me make sense of experiences that once felt isolating and confusing. Over time, I shifted from self-doubt to self-trust, especially in recognizing the importance of honoring my inner guidance while continuing to grow professionally and personally. Today, my work is driven by a desire to support others who may feel similarly unseen or misunderstood, helping them reconnect with their own inner resilience and sense of purpose.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
A lot of young women that come to me are in their late 20s and 30s, and they're always kind of questioning the status quo. I would say keep questioning it and create your own authentic reality, because that's the only way you can find your soul's purpose. They're starting to question that, but then they get pulled right back into the conditioning. I think true empowerment for women, I mean it was for myself, was to just rewrite the narrative. Don't follow. Unbelieve what you're told. Believe in your heart. It's easier said than done, but that's where it all begins, in your heart - what you're drawn to.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Compassion, creativity, humility, and curiosity
