Haydee Arroyo

Haydee Arroyo began her career in 1997 with the U.S. Army in Texas. She holds a degree in animal health from Utuado, Puerto Rico, and a bachelor's degree in law enforcement from Puerto Rico. After serving as a police officer in Puerto Rico, including time in drug and alcohol units and over 10 years as a crime scene detective handling cases such as murders and abductions, she moved to Florida in 2012 and then to Georgia in 2019. Arroyo has volunteered extensively as a chaplain for first responders, worked with senior citizens on fraud prevention, supported cancer survivors at Florida Hospital, and participated in YMCA programs. She recently earned an honorary doctorate in divinity and a protocol and diplomacy certification from Washington, D.C. Currently, she manages a Taekwondo school while continuing her chaplaincy work, with plans to open an office supporting first responders.
