Haydee Maggiano is the Managing Partner and lead graphic designer at Dynamic Evidence, a premier legal technology and forensic videography firm. As a first-generation college graduate and daughter of immigrants from El Salvador, Haydee’s journey is rooted in perseverance, hard work, and determination. Watching her parents build a successful restaurant business across New Jersey after arriving in the United States with very little instilled in her a deep appreciation for sacrifice, discipline, and resilience. From a young age, she worked alongside her family in their restaurants, helping bridge language barriers while developing strong leadership, customer service, and operational skills that continue to shape her professional success today.
Haydee earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Berkeley College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. She is continuing her academic journey by pursuing a master’s degree in Animation and Digital Design at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Combining her technical expertise with a creative eye for visual storytelling, Haydee has become highly respected in the legal support industry for designing custom mediations and demonstrative evidence presentations that help attorneys effectively communicate complex case information. Using platforms such as PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign, she develops compelling visual presentations that support attorneys throughout every phase of litigation, from case development through trial.
Working alongside her husband and business partner at Dynamic Evidence, Haydee has helped transform the company into a trusted partner for attorneys and legal professionals throughout the region. Inspired early on by her father-in-law, a respected New Jersey trial attorney who recognized her talent for visual communication and courtroom presentation design, she discovered a unique opportunity to merge creativity with litigation strategy. Today, she oversees the full evidence development process and is trusted by attorneys to manage, organize, and present critical case evidence with precision and innovation. Known for her professionalism, creativity, and commitment to excellence, Haydee continues to elevate the standards of legal graphics, forensic videography, and courtroom technology while helping legal teams present persuasive and impactful cases.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I definitely attribute my success to working alongside my family - they were always my number one supporters, and watching them and their work ethic shaped me since I was very young. Working at the restaurant was an amazing opportunity that I had. I was very lucky to be able to do that while going to college. It taught me responsibility, getting up for work, discipline, working with people, and long hours in a restaurant. My family has always been my strongest support system and my biggest motivation, especially my kids. My dad always pushed me to be independent, to pursue school, to do it for myself, not to depend on anyone else. He made me tough. My husband also pushes me to be more creative, and because of him, he made me apply my creative skills and technical skills, computer skills, towards creating these custom visual presentations for lawyers that not many people do - that's like a little niche. I take who I am today from hard work, resilience, and always going forward.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to believe in yourself and trust that you can accomplish anything you truly commit to. Even when things feel uncertain or uncomfortable, you have to keep pushing forward and trust your instincts. Don’t overthink things or let fear stop you from taking opportunities.

Growth happens when you step outside of your comfort zone and take chances on yourself. Listen to that inner voice, stay focused on your goals, and keep working consistently. Consistency, discipline, and confidence in yourself are what create long-term success — the rest will follow

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Consistency is key, for sure. I always say that to myself, my family, my kids - just to keep learning, continue growing, and to just never doubt yourself or our abilities to do things. Stay confident, stay focused on our vision, and just follow your passion, and the rest will just fall into place. It's all about staying consistent, working hard, and remaining willing to learn new skills and experiences. And most importantly, not to overthink, because I know I do that myself. I overthink and let fear get in the way of taking the step. It's just about taking the first step and just keep going.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges — and also one of the biggest opportunities — in my field is keeping up with the constant evolution of technology, software, and artificial intelligence. The pace of advancement is incredibly fast, which requires continuous learning, adaptability, and staying current with new tools and systems.

At the same time, these advancements create exciting opportunities to improve visual communication, presentation quality, efficiency, and the overall way complex information is presented and understood. Those who are willing to learn, adapt, and embrace new technology will continue to grow and stay ahead in the industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, health, growth, and helping others. Family is everything to me. I’m a proud mom of two incredible and intelligent children, and they are my greatest motivation in life.

I also believe it’s extremely important to prioritize yourself and your mental and physical health. I was never involved in sports growing up, but now I make it a priority to show up for myself by working out 4–5 mornings a week. This routine helps set the tone for my day, keeps me mentally focused, and has made me both stronger and healthier.
