Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be a kind leader to others, never take anything for granted, and fully appreciate all that I have. Equally important is the commitment to giving back by helping those who are underserved. This philosophy has guided my professional journey and inspired my work as the founder of Impact Horse - Connecting Humans & Horses.

Q

I would advise young women entering my industry to be proud of themselves, the work they do, and the impact they make. Equally important is to be a great mentor to others, sharing your knowledge and guidance to help the next generation succeed.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is reaching more individuals and families who could benefit from our services and ensuring they know that equine-assisted wellness and therapy horse visits are available. Expanding awareness and accessibility allows us to make a meaningful impact on more lives while strengthening the community we serve. As the need continues to grow, we need funds to support our miniature horse wellness initiatives!
