Her Story

About Heather

Heather Boudreaux is an accomplished operations executive and business builder with nearly a decade of leadership at RCCP Services, a national post-construction cleaning company serving commercial projects across the United States. Since helping launch the company in 2022, she has built its operations from the ground up, overseeing every aspect of the business, including project management, billing, accounting, scheduling, crew coordination, and client support. Working remotely with a lean administrative team, Heather manages the deployment of 30 to 40 field crews nationwide, ensuring complex projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Her operational leadership has been instrumental in the company's sustained growth, including a standout $5 million year that achieved the highest gross profit percentage in company history while utilizing the fewest crews. Before co-founding RCCP Services, Heather spent seven years managing national retail renovation and remodeling projects for major big-box retailers, developing expertise in construction operations, logistics, and workforce management. Although she entered the construction industry with little formal training, she quickly mastered the field through determination, adaptability, and hands-on experience. She holds associate degrees in Business Management and Marketing, along with four professional certificates—two in business management and two in marketing—which have strengthened her strategic approach to business development and operational excellence. Her entrepreneurial spirit also extends beyond construction, having previously owned a successful salon and assisted family-owned businesses with growth and operations. Heather is recognized for her resilience, innovative thinking, and ability to build efficient systems that drive measurable results. She credits her success to perseverance, refusing to let skepticism about women in construction define her career. Passionate about continuous improvement, she believes strong leadership comes from taking calculated risks, learning through experience, and creating opportunities where others see obstacles. Through her work, Heather continues to demonstrate that operational excellence, strategic vision, and unwavering determination are the foundation of long-term business success.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Heather

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset. I’ve always been motivated by the opportunity to build and grow something meaningful, and I thrive on turning challenges into opportunities. Throughout my career, I’ve been told that certain goals weren’t possible, but instead of discouraging me, those moments pushed me to work even harder. After earning associate degrees in Business Management and Marketing, I built my expertise through hands-on experience, teaching myself every aspect of the business. Today, I’m proud to have helped grow a company from the ground up and to have led a $5 million year with the highest gross profit percentage in the company’s history while managing the fewest crews.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that there are no real walls—and if there are, you can always find a way over them, under them, or around them. That perspective has stayed with me throughout my career and reminds me that obstacles are simply challenges that require creativity, persistence, and determination to overcome.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are perseverance, self-reliance, and continuous improvement. Professionally, I’m committed to taking ownership, solving problems, and always finding a way to deliver results. Personally, I value spending time with my children and enjoy tackling hands-on DIY and home improvement projects, from building sheds to pouring concrete. Those experiences reflect my belief in learning new skills, working hard, and taking pride in creating something with my own hands.
