Heather Eck
Heather Eck is an intuitive artist and color healing practitioner who helps women understand how color can support their healing, growth, and success in practical, meaningful ways. As the founder of Heather Eck Studios and host of the Your Radiant Spirit podcast, she blends creativity, intuition, and emotional awareness to guide clients in transforming stress, burnout, and emotional blocks into clarity, renewed energy, and alignment. Through Spirit Portraits, workshops, and immersive programs, Heather uses the language of color to help people reconnect with themselves and move forward with greater peace and purpose.
Her work is rooted in creative healing — a therapeutic approach that combines expressive art, emotional processing, and intuitive insight. Heather creates supportive spaces where women can safely explore what their bodies and emotions have been holding, release what no longer serves them, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-trust and vitality. She believes healing happens through expression, community, and lifelong learning, and she measures success by the number of lives she helps shift toward greater wholeness.
Before becoming a full-time artist, Heather spent nearly two decades in human resources and leadership development, working in creative industries including advertising and video game companies. She holds a degree in Human Resources with a minor in Art, a background that uniquely bridges structure and creativity in her work today. An award-winning artist and recipient of a local Movers and Shakers honor, Heather has exhibited widely and completed a transformative artist residency in France. She continues to expand her impact through teaching, speaking, and her growing global creative community.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a deep faith and a reliance on divine guidance rather than constant striving. I’ve learned to define success in a way that goes beyond titles, salary, or credentials, and instead focuses on alignment, growth, and impact. Continuous learning and honest self-reflection have shaped both my personal journey and my creative work, where emotional honesty and vulnerability are central. My background in HR also helped me develop strong communication skills, which allow me to connect meaningfully and support others in their own growth.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve embraced is to stop chasing credentials or external validation and instead trust my inner guidance. When I shifted from achievement-based definitions of success to listening to what truly felt aligned, my path unfolded in ways that were far more meaningful and fulfilling than I could have planned.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this field to trust the creative process and not feel pressured to rush their work into the world. Take time to feel deeply, explore what resonates, and allow your unique style to emerge naturally. Creativity doesn’t have to be justified to be valuable—your art is a path to knowing and loving yourself more fully. Stay open, get comfortable with discomfort, and let that space shape your voice and growth.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is that art is often seen as “extra” rather than essential, and creative work sometimes has to be justified in a productivity-driven culture. At the same time, there are incredible opportunities: art can be a powerful tool for healing during times of uncertainty, and there’s growing interest in building in-person creative communities. I also see a chance to offer accessible, low-pressure workshops that help people reconnect with their creativity and their sense of joy.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most in my work and life are faith and spiritual grounding, and staying true to myself through emotional expression and authenticity. I deeply value human connection and open communication, and I prioritize personal fulfillment over external validation. Above all, I strive to create safe, welcoming spaces where others can feel, heal, and explore their creativity freely.
