Her Story

About Heather

I've been in the education industry since 2010, and I currently serve as Elementary School Principal at Brought Back in Christ School in Spring Branch, Texas. I absolutely love working with elementary students - I really feel like you're building on the future community. My main areas of expertise are early literacy and leadership training and development. I just recently wrote my first children's book, which I'm super passionate about and will be releasing on Amazon on May 9th, World Lupus Day. It's a book about helping children understand chronic illness. My most notable professional achievement would be the development of the elementary program and scaling it up, though personally the accomplishment of my doctoral degree is also significant. I'm a member of the National Honor Society for Educational Leadership and serve on several area boards for education. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time by the pool with my family.
