About Heather
Heather Hyndman serves as a 988 crisis counselor and team lead of Operational Crisis Service, where she handles calls, texts, and chats on the national hotline for crisis and suicide prevention. In this role, she conducts mental health and suicide assessments, collaborates with law enforcement and EMS, and connects individuals facing issues such as homelessness and substance use with appropriate resources.
