Q

What do you attribute your success to?

From a very early age, I struggled to decide on what I wanted to be when I grew up. It wasn’t until I was in my early 20's when I began searching that journey as to what my purpose was truly meant to be. I started to develop myself by helping others, one of my biggest passions in life is holistic medicine. That journey led me, and it all evolved from there. I was God led to seek help for some bulging disks I had received when I was injured in car accident. This started me to learn about my own healing journey with natural medicine and through that path, I learned to help heal others with the gift of massage therapy. I began working with amazing Chiropractors who also had a holistic mind set, and from there I started my journey managing and running those clinics. After 7 years, I developed my niche in being able to help other medical and chiropractic professionals with their Operational Management and Billing and Coding, and this is what lead me to developing my consulting business. Helping providers in understanding how to implement policies and procedures, credentialling, good billing and coding practices, and to mostly help them to develop their professional teams with direct hiring and training of those personnel. Inevitably this helped them in turning around and evolving their desire to develop and grow their own businesses with compliance. This in turn is also what helped me in building my own business acumen. I stayed in that profession for over 20+ years, and then God shifted my profession to Aerospace and Defense, a refreshing and welcome change that evolved right before COVID.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the providers and mentors I was working for said "You know you really have a niche for compliance and doing things right, why don’t you take your skills and start consulting for other medical providers"? It really got me thinking about what direction I wanted to take in my career. In that choice, I went on to start my consulting company help over a dozen medical professionals in my 20+ year tenure into better operational excellence, compliance and auditing, business development and increase revenue. One of the best decisions I ever made in my career next to becoming an amazing talent for one of the best aerospace and defense companies.
