Her Interview

Ten minutes with Heather

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying adaptable and going with the flow. We cannot always predict what the future will bring, so I try to stay on my toes, remain flexible, and be ready to step in whenever I am needed.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is not to take everything too seriously. At the end of the day, as long as I have done what I can, I can accept the outcome and move forward.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women entering the logistics industry to keep their heads up, persevere, and never give up. There may be challenges along the way, but continuing to push forward is worth it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the challenges in the field is inequalities related to demographics. At the same time, these challenges can create opportunities for greater growth, representation, and progress within the industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The value that is most important to me is the Golden Rule: treating others the way I would want to be treated. I believe this principle should guide how I interact with people both professionally and personally.
