Her career began in banking, where she held roles in credit analysis and personal banking at Wells Fargo, before transitioning to public service with the State Personnel Board and eventually joining CalPERS.

Throughout her tenure, Heather has played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives within CalPERS’ investment operations. She has served as Investment Manager, Associate Investment Manager, and Investment Officer, consistently demonstrating leadership in market data management and financial strategy. Heather’s dedication extends beyond her professional responsibilities; she actively volunteers as Donor Relations Lead for the For One Another Foundation, Inc., reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community.
