Her Story

About Heather

I’m an entrepreneur, Navy veteran, wife, mom, and the kind of person who genuinely gets excited watching other people win. I love building things from the ground up, connecting with ambitious women, and turning big ideas into something real.

I believe you can be driven and still lead with heart, successful without competing with everyone around you, and ambitious while bringing people with you. I’m currently in a season of saying yes to bigger rooms, bigger goals, and seeing just how far I can take this thing.

Ten minutes with Heather

01What do you attribute your success to?

Consistency, resilience, and refusing to let other people’s limitations become my own. I’m willing to start before I have everything figured out, learn as I go, and work incredibly hard for what I believe in. I also genuinely want the people around me to succeed. I’ve learned that my success grows when I’m helping others grow too.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You deserve what you desire. I believe if there’s something you deeply desire, it’s there for a reason, and you shouldn’t ignore it. Chase the desire. Take the risk. You don’t need to know exactly how you’ll get there. Start moving, and when things change or battles come, adapt. The path may look different than you imagined, but that doesn’t mean the desire was wrong.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Your environment matters just as much as the work you put in. Surround yourself with people who are where you want to be, people who challenge you, inspire you, and push you to think bigger. The right rooms will stretch you, change your perspective, and open doors you may never have known existed. Work hard, absolutely, but be intentional about who you’re growing alongside.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the beauty industry is also one of its greatest opportunities: standing out. Clients have endless options, so being talented isn’t enough anymore. You have to create an experience, build trust, and give people a reason to choose you and come back. I think the salons that invest in their people, culture, and client experience are the ones that will thrive.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

God first, family second, then everything else. I value integrity, loyalty, growth, and serving others. I want to be successful, but never at the expense of the people around me. To me, real success is building a life I’m proud of while having the ability to pour into others and help them build one they’re proud of too.
