Heather Walker is the owner and operator of Brite Smiles, a private teeth whitening studio based in Denton, Texas. A registered dental assistant with more than 30 years of experience in the dental industry, she has worked across cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery before launching her own business four and a half years ago. Drawing on her extensive clinical background, she created Brite Smiles to offer professional in-office teeth whitening in a comfortable, non-traditional setting that feels welcoming and accessible to clients. Through Brite Smiles, Walker provides affordable professional whitening services at $225, with flexible payment options designed to make treatment accessible to a wider range of clients. She is known for her patient-centered approach, taking time to answer questions thoroughly, avoiding rushed appointments, and ensuring each client feels informed and cared for. Her attention to detail extends beyond the chair—she follows up personally with clients and often sends handwritten thank-you notes, fostering long-term relationships and a strong sense of community around her business. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Walker is deeply involved in her community. She serves as board chair for SPAN Meals on Wheels and volunteers with multiple nonprofit organizations. Her leadership and impact were recognized when she was named Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year by her local chamber.
