Heidi Coluni

Heidi Coluni is the Director for the healthcare network for New Jersey at Elevance Health, where she oversees contracting for hospitals, ancillary providers, and other network participants in the WellPoint Medicaid and Medicare plans. She manages regulatory interactions with the state, network adequacy, audits, corrective action plans, appointment availability, provider education, outreach campaigns, and claims processing support. Coluni began her career after studying health policy administration at Penn State University, completing an internship at Atlantis Health Plan in New York, and has since held roles across organizations of varying sizes in the managed care industry. She spent five years at Horizon leading a team of 25 across four functions and is proud of transforming a siloed group into a collaborative unit that understood how their work interconnected. Coluni holds a master's in healthcare and emphasizes the importance of mentorship and improved work-life balance structures for women in the field.
