Heidi Sauceda is a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Moxa with a passion for building workplaces where people feel supported, engaged, and empowered. With a strong academic foundation in Management and Human Resources from California State Polytechnic University–Pomona, Heidi’s career at Moxa began as an intern and grew into a specialist role through dedication, curiosity, and a people-first mindset. In her work, she focuses on employee engagement, onboarding, talent acquisition, reward and recognition, and overall employee wellbeing, helping the organization attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Throughout her six-plus years at Moxa, Heidi has become a trusted partner to leaders and employees alike, known for her ability to blend HR policy expertise with empathy and practical experience. She is deeply committed to fostering a positive, efficient, and inclusive work environment, and she actively stays engaged in conversations around employee wellness, leadership development, and organizational culture. I attribute my success to perseverance, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for creating inclusive, people-centered workplaces, along with the support of mentors and hands-on experiences that allowed me to grow from an intern into a specialist while balancing work, education, and family.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is from my husband, George, who has always encouraged me to push further in every aspect of my career and life, serving as both a partner and an inspiration.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering this industry to network actively and confidently, putting themselves out there, because strong professional relationships are just as valuable as experience and education.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, perseverance, and creating a supportive environment for others. I strive to lead by example, give back to the community, and empower those around me while balancing career and family.
