Her Interview

Ten minutes with Heidi

01What do you attribute your success to?

Being at an institution that supports vision and responds with 'what do you need?' has allowed me to exceed my own bounds. The belief and support of the institution has catapulted many of these things for the better, not only for myself but also the institution and our patients.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Look for the things that excite you, that energize you. And follow that. Because those are gonna be the things that keep you engaged, that give you longevity in your career and your field. And that keep you happy.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Always keep learning, and then share it with others. Teaching and mentoring the next generation of people coming after is how you keep it going forward.
