Her Interview

Ten minutes with Helen

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success is rooted in a strong foundation of faith, the unwavering support of my family and friends, and the guidance of incredible mentors who have poured into my life along the way. I consider myself deeply blessed, and I lead with gratitude in all that I do. What has truly sustained and expanded that success is my commitment to a positive, growth-focused mindset. It’s this inner alignment that keeps me grounded, fuels my resilience, and empowers me to give myself permission to dream bigger than I ever thought possible—and then take intentional steps to bring those dreams to life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to truly listen to your heart—and to pay attention to how opportunities feel when you “try them on.” Not every path placed in front of you is yours to take, even if it looks right on paper. I’ve learned that alignment matters more than expectation. When something resonates deeply, there’s a sense of clarity, energy, and expansion that follows. Trusting that inner guidance has helped me make decisions that are not only successful, but also deeply fulfilling. It’s a reminder that your career isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you become along the way.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women in this industry is simple, yet powerful: do what you can, with what you have, from where you are—and trust the process along the way. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Growth happens in motion, not in perfection. Believe in your voice, even as it’s still evolving. Give yourself permission to start before you feel fully ready and honor the unique perspective you bring. Stay rooted in who you are, keep learning, and surround yourself with people who elevate and challenge you. Every step forward—no matter how small—is building something meaningful. Trust that what you’re planting today will grow into something far greater than you can see right now.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and also the greatest opportunities—in my field is helping people move beyond the limits of their current thinking. Many individuals are navigating internal blocks shaped by past experiences and day-to-day circumstances, which can make it difficult for them to see what’s truly possible for their lives.

The opportunity lies in expanding that perspective. When someone begins to shift their mindset and reconnect with possibility, everything changes—their confidence, their decisions, and the results they create. Being able to guide someone from feeling stuck to seeing a bigger vision for themselves is where the real transformation happens. It’s not just about overcoming obstacles; it’s about awakening potential that was there all along.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life begin with my faith. My spirituality is my foundation—it centers me, grounds my decisions, and provides daily guidance in how I show up and serve others. From that foundation, love and integrity lead the way. Love in how I treat others and how I honor myself, and integrity in ensuring that my actions consistently align with my values. I believe in showing up with empathy, truly seeing and understanding people where they are, while also holding space for growth and what’s possible for them. I also value reliability and accountability—doing what I say I will do, and taking full ownership of my commitments. For me, success isn’t just measured by outcomes, but by the way I live, lead, and impact others along the way.
