About helga
Helga Quijano is a leadership development and organizational well-being consultant, entrepreneur, and former enterprise sales professional based in Miami, Florida. As the Founder and CEO of Mujeres Vitales, she designs and facilitates leadership programs, executive coaching, corporate workshops, and employee well-being initiatives focused on resilience, emotional intelligence, communication, and organizational culture. She also brings extensive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise account management, and regional commercial strategy, including leadership roles across Latin America. Her background combines business leadership with coaching and transformational methodologies, giving her a strong focus on both organizational growth and human development. Quijano studied industrial engineering and earned a master's degree and MBA from Purdue University. She spent 13 years in the corporate world as a commercial manager for Latin America and Central America at a Japanese company before transitioning to the self-development field approximately 8 years ago. She became an ontological coach, certified as a hypnotherapist, and a BrightWare facilitator, among other certifications. Through Mujeres Vitales she leads workshops, retreats, and therapies for women, including programs on healing the inner child, relationships with parents, recovering self-worth, aligning with purpose, and a certification mentoring program to help other women start their own businesses.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think that what helps you to start something and to keep in that path is your inner motivation, which comes from your soul and spirit. You need to start encountering your purpose, which is bigger than you. Every step is very important, even the small steps. Execute, because if you don't execute, it remains as a dream. Find that internal motivation that will help you not to give up even in the hard moments. Listen to your intuition to move in the right path to your dreams.
