Hidhayath Idris specializes in software engineering. She has been in the industry for three years and has around nine years of experience in the computer science field overall. After earning her undergraduate degree in computer science or software, she secured a placement and worked with clients across multiple global countries. She recently completed her master's degree in software in the United States, where she moved from India as a first-generation student. Originally planning to study biology or medicine, she entered computer science due to admission fees and developed a strong interest after exposure to the field through industry visits and problem-solving aspects. She is now searching for new professional opportunities following her graduation.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If you want to do something, don't think about finance, everything will fall into places. Don't mull over it a lot, just go ahead and get what you want. When you get it with the work that you have done, the finance will not even matter.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Try to be adamant in what you want. If external forces are making you stop, balance it or decide if it's worth it. Go ahead and don't think of something that's not necessary or stopping you. Be independent. The ability to balance family, relationship and career is important.
