About Hillary
Hillary BrizellDeLise is an Associate Broker based in New York, New York, with 27 years of experience in the sales industry, the majority of which has been in real estate sales with a specialty in co-ops. She began her sales career at Dreyfus selling money market funds before transitioning to real estate, where she earned her associate broker credential, an advanced real estate designation. BrizellDeLise earned her undergraduate degree in sociology from NYU and holds an MA in psychology as well as a Master of Education in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Columbia. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and previously served on its Executive Sales Committee. BrizellDeLise has received several sales trophies and attributes her success to her creativity, integrity, honesty, intelligence, gift of gab, tenacity, and problem-solving ability. She is known for mentoring colleagues and maintaining strong client relationships built on referrals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't judge a book by its cover. Someone could be wearing jeans and be a millionaire.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's amazing because you meet people from all over the world who become friends. See it through to the end. Be there at the very end. Be smart, be informed, keep well informed, and keep at it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges include competition, qualifying buyers, co-op approval processes with elaborate applications and paperwork that invade privacy, building rules and assessments, and matching clients' desires with budgets. Finding the right place is a big decision.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, and treating people equally with the same value until they prove differently.
