Hima Nippuleti is the Founder, CEO, and President of BoozDNA Technology, a woman-owned information technology consulting firm she founded in 2017. With a career spanning approximately 16 years across technology, financial services, consulting, sales, and entrepreneurship, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the intersection of technology and business strategy. Her expertise encompasses IT consulting, software and application development, cloud services, data analytics, artificial intelligence, ERP solutions, cybersecurity, project management, and digital transformation. Through BoozDNA, she leads teams focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions while helping organizations navigate an evolving technological landscape.
Nippuleti's professional background includes serving as a Financial Solutions Manager at Bank of America and Head of IT Solutions at EDWISE INTERNATIONAL before establishing BoozDNA Technology. She holds a master's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Osmania University and has continued her executive development through Wharton Executive Education, including Leadership in AI and Analytics. Her professional accomplishments include the Pinnacle Club Diamond recognition from Bank of America, the 2024 International Women Entrepreneur Award, recognition through WBEC-West's Women in Motion initiative, and a District Director's Award for Growth associated with the 2025 SBA/SBDC awards. She has also participated in LA County's COHORT program, where her company was recognized among the top three companies.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, Nippuleti is committed to leadership, community engagement, and developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and technology professionals. She serves as a Board Director of the Asian Business Association of Orange County and has participated in leadership and small-business initiatives throughout Southern California. She advocates for resilience, continuous learning, responsible innovation, and an inclusive approach to technology, particularly as artificial intelligence transforms business and society. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, persistence, and a never-give-up attitude. I believe in myself and in the value of the products and services I provide. I also take a consultative approach to understanding my clients, treating them as partners rather than simply customers, and striving to be the most responsive and responsible vendor possible.
I focus on providing in-depth solutions that go back to the fundamentals and address the root causes of challenges rather than simply treating symptoms. My goal is to combine technology with real business impact so that the solutions we deliver create meaningful, sustainable value for our clients.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to continue learning, embrace technology and innovation, and pursue entrepreneurship with confidence and purpose. As women in technology and business, we have an opportunity not only to build successful careers but also to create opportunities for others and help shape the future of our industries.
I believe it is important to keep evolving, believe in the value you bring, and not be afraid to create your own opportunities. My own journey has reinforced the importance of resilience, continuous learning, and being willing to lead through change. I also encourage young people to explore technology and entrepreneurship as paths through which they can create meaningful impact.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence represents both a significant opportunity and a responsibility for technology leaders. AI is transforming how organizations operate, compete, and deliver value, creating opportunities to solve real business and societal challenges through innovation and data-driven solutions.
At the same time, technology leaders must think carefully about how these tools are implemented. I believe the future of AI will depend not only on the technology itself, but also on responsible, ethical, and inclusive leadership. For businesses, there are significant opportunities to integrate AI, cloud technologies, data solutions, and digital transformation into strategies that improve operational efficiency and create measurable business impact.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Resilience, integrity, responsiveness, responsibility, continuous learning, and collaboration are central to how I approach my work. I believe in treating clients as partners, understanding their needs at a fundamental level, and taking responsibility for delivering solutions that create genuine value.
I also value innovation, inclusion, community, and empowerment. Whether I am leading BoozDNA, working with clients, participating in professional organizations, or encouraging young people to explore entrepreneurship and technology, I want my work to create opportunities, support others, and contribute to meaningful progress.
