About Himani
Himani Khandare serves as Director of Technology Delivery at Ryder. She brings 15 years of experience in the supply chain technology field, having joined the company as an intern in 2012 while studying at the University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout her career at Ryder, Khandare has focused on supply chain-oriented implementations, including leading a Blue Yonder TMS upgrade and delivering warehouse management services. She recently advanced from Senior Manager of Technology Delivery to her current director role. Khandare earned a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Pune in India. She attributes her professional growth to a strong family support system and Ryder leadership that identifies and nurtures talent.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would dedicate that to my family and having a good support system, and just the leadership that we have at Rider who are identifying talent and putting trust and confidence in them to grow.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the things that was a game changer from a career advice perspective was especially for those who want to be leaders, was to create leaders within your teams. Nurturing talent and creating leaders is one of the topmost important things in order for an organization to continue growing.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Your network of women who are striving to be successful around you is your biggest superpower. Whether it's your mentors, whether it's your peers, great things happen when we support each other and celebrate each other. Never let people with small minds convince you that your dreams are too big.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is somewhere there on the top. Integrity, trust, courage all are sort of in that one category. Courage comes a close second. Overall relationships.
