What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to staying deeply curious and being willing to learn in every phase of my career. Over time, I’ve learned that impact comes from combining strong business judgment with empathy, asking better questions, and creating environments where people can do their best thinking. I’ve also been intentional about surrounding myself with people who challenge me and help me grow. Mentors, teams, and a willingness to reflect and adapt have played a huge role in shaping who I am as a leader.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I was once told not to optimize for the next role, but for the skills and perspective I’d need five years later. That advice helped me take roles that stretched me, even when they didn’t look like obvious promotions at the time.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be curious, and don’t wait to be fully ready before you raise your hand. Take roles that stretch you, seek feedback often, and build relationships with people who challenge your thinking. Your growth will come from experiences, not just credentials.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge right now is that AI is moving faster than organizational readiness. Many companies are adopting tools, but fewer are redesigning roles, decision-making, and accountability to use AI well. The opportunity is enormous for leaders who can bring clarity and judgment to that transition by helping teams become AI-ready and ensuring technology actually improves how people work and make decisions.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I’m guided by empathy, accountability, and growth. I care deeply about how people experience leadership, whether they feel safe to learn, and whether they’re supported in developing their voice. Those values show up in how I work with teams and how I show up in my personal relationships.
