Hitisha Sharma

Hitisha Sharma serves as a Senior Associate at Stantec Consulting, based in San Francisco, California, where she leads efforts to grow the electrical engineering department and deliver projects across the West Coast and the United States. With 11 years in the electrical engineering field, she began her career as an intern at the firm before gaining experience at mid-sized companies on fast-paced infrastructure and tech facility projects. Sharma's expertise centers on electrical design for complex buildings and infrastructure, with a focus over the past two years on integrating renewable energy systems such as solar, PV, and battery storage into existing and new residential, university, office, and healthcare facilities. She holds a Professional Engineering license in California, a Project Management Professional certification, and is completing a Master's in Energy Systems at the University of San Francisco. As a member of RISE (Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy), Sharma is passionate about mentorship, regularly speaking at schools and judging engineering competitions to encourage youth, women, people of color, and immigrant communities to pursue STEM careers. She is also in the process of launching a nonprofit dedicated to cybercrime awareness.
