Hollie Morales
Hollie Morales is a Senior Sales Representative at Purple Innovations, where she specializes in consultative, solution-based selling within the tech and healthcare space. She partners with clients managing chronic pain, sleep apnea, arthritis, and other health conditions, delivering tailored recommendations featuring Purple’s GelFlex Grid technology. A proven KPI leader, Hollie consistently ranks #1 in conversion rate, total order value, and revenue generated per hour, surpassing annual quotas by more than 200% and setting company sales records. Her success is rooted in a relationship-first philosophy—earning trust, referrals, and repeat business by positioning herself as an advocate rather than a transactional salesperson.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales, Hollie combines business acumen with scientific literacy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Utah and previously studied Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Her academic background includes clinical and laboratory research in neuro-oncology and immunology, equipping her with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, customer-centered solutions. This blend of healthcare knowledge and sales expertise allows her to effectively serve clients across medical, wellness, and technology-driven industries.
A fourth-generation sales professional, Hollie is driven by a genuine passion for people and problem-solving. She believes exceptional sales performance stems from empathy, active listening, and meeting customers where they are—whether aligning with their budget, goals, or long-term needs. Known for her positive leadership style and commitment to meaningful work, she is currently exploring opportunities as an Account Executive or Medical Device Sales Specialist, where she can continue bridging science, service, and high-performance sales strategy.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my genuine love of people. Everything I do comes from that foundation. Whether I'm in sales or was back in medicine, it's always been about getting to know the person I'm working with. I don't just follow a script or push an agenda - I listen to their stories, I banter with them, and I make them feel like I'm invested in them. My customers know I'm on their side and on their team, trying to find real solutions to fix their problems. They view me as an advocate and a friend, not a pushy salesperson. That's what gives referrals - when you provide awesome customer service and meet your customers' needs right where they are. I love sharing something with someone that's going to make their life better, improve their day, take their pain away, or save them time so they can get home for their kid's baseball game instead of working late. It's genuine, and that love of people is the synopsis of everything. Sales utilizes the best aspects of my entire personality - everything that is good and positive about me.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value to me is people and building lasting relationships. I love people and I love talking to people. I'm always thinking about how I can share something that will make their life better, whether it's a product that will improve their day or a software program that will save them time so they can get home for dinner with their family. Time with your loved ones is the most important thing - I learned that after losing my dad and my husband. That's why I transferred from the University of Texas to the University of Utah, even though it meant giving up my dream school. It didn't matter that my piece of paper came from UT any longer if it meant I could be with my mom and dad in their older years. I'm extremely competitive and I like to win, but at the end of the day, it's all about the genuine connections and relationships I build with people. That's what fills my soul.
