Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to finding a role that aligns with both my skills and my passion. Over the past eight years as a paralegal, I’ve discovered that my true calling lies not only in navigating the intricacies of family law, but in supporting its youngest members. Helping children understand that transitioning into two families is not their fault, and empowering families to cope and move forward, has been the most rewarding part of my work. A supportive and encouraging mentor has also been key to my success. Having a boss who invests in my growth has given me the confidence to take on new challenges and continually expand my impact. This guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping my career and professional development. Looking ahead, I am excited to begin law school next fall, a step that will allow me to deepen my expertise and broaden the ways I can serve families. My success has been built on a combination of passion, mentorship, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

For young women considering a career in family law, I would advise that if you have the empathy and desire to help families navigate difficult transitions, this field can be incredibly rewarding. You have the opportunity not only to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients, but also to be part of creating positive new beginnings for families during challenging times.
