About Holly
Holly Ehman is an administrative and community engagement professional based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, whose career reflects a genuine passion for helping people, creating memorable experiences, and staying connected to her community. She has been with AAA Central Penn since 2017, beginning in Member Services at the Hershey Branch before supporting several other Central Pennsylvania locations. Today, Holly serves as an Administrative Assistant with AAA Discoveries and as a Trip Journey Manager. Her work includes supporting travel and community events, promoting AAA Discoveries, assisting with company initiatives, and contributing to programs such as AAA Cares, the Culture Crew, and the New Hire Buddy Program. Her commitment to excellence was recognized with a 2026 nomination for AAA Central Penn’s Excellence Hero Award and she won the Annual Hwro Award in their Flexible Category in 2023. Outside of AAA, Holly has developed a diverse background in, travel, hospitality, entertainment, and event promotion, along with health care, cystomer service, and retail in prior years. She has been part of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts for many years, working in Premium Seating and as an Entertainment Ambassador at venues including the Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, Aquatheater, Music Box, and Treatville. She also has a long-standing relationship with the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, where she promotes the theater at events and has worked in several capacities over the years, including the box office, door management, and greeting bus groups. In addition to working, Holly occasionally provides administrative volunteer support, allowing her to combine her organizational skills with her love of the performing arts and community events. Giving back is an important part of Holly’s life. She serves as a support volunteer with the Colonial Park Fire Company, where she assists with administrative work, event planning, fundraising, marketing, recruitment, and public education and outreach. She also volunteers through AAA Cares, supporting opportunities that allow her to make a difference beyond her regular professional responsibilities. Whether she is helping a customer plan a journey, welcoming guests at an entertainment venue, supporting a local organization, or volunteering in her community, Holly brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong sense of service. Her ability to balance a busy professional life with meaningful community involvement reflects her belief in continually growing, contributing, and making a positive impact wherever she can.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being organized, dependable, and adaptable. I focus on delivering high-quality work, maintaining strong communication, and supporting others while continuously learning and improving. And if it’s a difficult day? I remember my resiliency. If I couldn’t do the job, the opportunity wouldn’t have come my way. The fact that the door opened is a reminder that someone saw potential in me before I could fully see it in myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be open to new ideas and never stop learning. Be the type of energy that no matter where you go, you always add value to the spaces and lives around you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field is to be confident in your abilities and never underestimate yourself or the value of your contributions. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, but so is being willing to learn and adapt. Build positive relationships, ask questions, seek opportunities for growth, and advocate for yourself and your career goals. Most importantly, be reliable, professional, and willing to take on new challenges, as these qualities can open doors to future opportunities. Your perseverance and commitment shape a path towards success and fulfillment.
