What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the incredible mentors and guides I’ve had along the way. My boss, Regional Sales Manager Cheryl Oberlee, has been instrumental in helping me navigate the industry and refine my skills. I’ve also learned a tremendous amount from Dr. Polin Lay, who taught me the ropes in exam rooms and guided me through the intricacies of patient care and eye health. Their guidance and support have shaped the professional I am today.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering this industry, my advice is simple: stop comparing yourself to others and focus on cultivating meaningful relationships. Building a strong network of colleagues, mentors, and clients not only opens doors but also helps you grow professionally and personally. Your career path is unique, and nurturing connections will amplify your opportunities and impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Beyond my professional achievements, I value giving back to my community and staying engaged in causes I care about. I actively fundraise for the American Cancer Society, participate in Relay for Life events, and support the American Red Cross. I’m proud to have consistently achieved recognition for exceeding my sales goals, reaching 100% or more every year—a testament to persistence, hard work, and staying focused on what matters.
