About Holly
Holly Huynh is a global marketing executive in Digital, Marketing Operations, and Analytics with a career built at the intersection of legal foundations, marketing strategy, and data-driven business transformation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from The University of Texas at Austin, initially pursuing a pre-law path with plans to attend law school. Early in her career, she gained hands-on legal experience working in law firms where she developed strong organizational, operational, and leadership skills. She transitioned from the legal field into business operations within a franchise headquarters environment leading the marketing department. This early pivot marked the start of her career in marketing and operations leadership, where she discovered a strong aptitude for building structure, improving processes, and driving performance. She then chose to deepen her expertise in digital marketing by joining a digital advertising agency, where she spent nearly five years developing advanced skills in performance marketing, analytics, and campaign strategy across multiple industries. Her career continued to accelerate when she was recruited by Gartner, where she managed performance marketing programs and expanded her expertise in marketing operations, attribution, and analytics at scale. She later joined Mitratech, where she led digital strategy, marketing operations, and analytics through 16 M&A events, building enterprise-level systems that connect marketing performance directly to revenue outcomes. Across her career journey, she has consistently progressed through roles of increasing scope and responsibility, guided by a commitment to learning, adaptability, and transforming data into actionable business impact.

Ten minutes with Holly
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my upbringing as a first-generation college student and the daughter of immigrant parents who came to this country as teenagers. From an early age, I developed a strong sense of responsibility and gratitude for the opportunities I was given, which shaped my drive to work hard and not take anything for granted. Starting school without knowing any English required resilience, adaptability, and persistence qualities that have stayed with me throughout my life and career. I also recognize a strong internal drive to achieve and continuously improve, which has motivated me to push through challenges, pursue growth opportunities, and hold myself to a high standard in both my personal and professional life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is that managers make sure their team knows they’re important, while leaders make sure their teams feel important. Be the leader. This perspective has shaped how I approach both leadership and collaboration throughout my career. It reinforced the importance of not only driving results personally, but also creating space for others to be recognized, heard, and successful. I strive to embody leadership that elevates my team, removes barriers, and ensures individual contributions are visible and valued.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to commit to continuous learning and stay curious. The digital and marketing analytics landscape evolves quickly, and long-term success comes from being adaptable, asking questions, and constantly building new skills. Don’t be afraid to step into roles or projects that stretch your capabilities, even if you don’t feel fully ready. Growth happens when you stay open to learning from every experience, seek out strong mentors, and take ownership of your development over time.
