Her Interview
Ten minutes with Holly
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to apply new knowledge and insights effectively. I believe growth comes from staying curious, embracing new challenges, and consistently seeking opportunities to improve. By expanding my skills, adapting to change, and applying what I learn in meaningful ways, I have been able to achieve results, overcome obstacles, and continue progressing both personally and professionally.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to hire people who are better than me and surround myself with individuals who are one or two steps ahead. Being surrounded by talented, knowledgeable, and forward-thinking people creates opportunities for continuous growth, learning, and collaboration. I believe that strong leaders recognize the value of empowering others, learning from their expertise, and building teams that challenge and inspire everyone to reach their full potential.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize that a formal four-year degree is not the only path to success. Today, there are countless opportunities to learn through resources such as AI, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Do not allow the absence of a traditional degree to limit your confidence or hold you back from pursuing your goals. The most important step is to start applying what you learn, whether through your own business, personal projects, or hands-on experiences. Take action, experiment, embrace continuous learning, and be willing to consume and apply new information as you grow. The experience you gain by doing is often the most valuable teacher.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity in my field right now is the continued evolution of artificial intelligence. AI can be a challenge for those who are not willing to embrace and adapt to it, but it also presents tremendous opportunities for those who learn how to use it effectively. We leverage AI to support everything from execution to strategic decision-making, including analyzing data and identifying insights that help inform our strategies. While AI can enhance efficiency and transform certain execution-focused roles, I believe the human element remains essential, especially in leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking. The key is being willing to learn, adapt, and use AI as a tool to enhance our capabilities rather than view it as a replacement.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, open mind, be willing to learn, mentorship, grit
