Ten minutes with Hope
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Each level of your career is a building block for the next level. You continue to grow. You never get complete. Always grow. Learning something new.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always leave with kindness and empathy. We are dealing with people with medical conditions, chronic medical conditions, and you want to listen to them and hear their concerns. Balance leading with kindness and empathy but understand you can't take on everybody's problems. You're not there to save everybody. We're there to provide that level of service with kindness and empathy.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Balancing risk against business need when providing reasonable accommodations under ADA in the private sector. It's a fine line to accommodate team members reasonably without putting the company at risk for litigation while allowing the company to meet its goals and objectives.
