Hui Weng

I'm a musician and educator serving as an Associate Professor in the String Department at Berklee College of Music. I consider myself a pioneer music educator because I've created new paths for students who have similar backgrounds to mine. My principal instrument is a Chinese traditional instrument, and I've done extensive work on cross-boundary, cross-cultural music education. Right now, with AI and global music trends, I'm doing a lot of music plus technology work, including live music incorporated with virtual reality. I'm building a platform for a musical ecosystem. I'm also currently a candidate in the EDD Leadership program at Columbia University. Additionally, I'm launching a new institute, though it hasn't been officially announced yet. We're in the preparation process and finding donors.
