Iliana Lince is a Senior Project Manager at Behar Font & Partners, where she has spent the past four years leading complex high-rise residential and mixed-use developments across South Florida. With an impressive 37-year career in architecture, she brings deep technical expertise in construction documentation, team coordination, and project delivery. Her work focuses on ensuring that intricate design plans translate seamlessly into successful construction — a responsibility she approaches with precision, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Having contributed to numerous landmark developments, including 40+ story towers and large-scale projects, Iliana is known for her ability to bring clarity, structure, and direction to highly complex environments. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oriente in Cuba, where she graduated in 1988. Her expertise spans consultant coordination across structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines, as well as navigating rigorous city permitting processes throughout Miami and surrounding areas.
Iliana believes that the success of any project lies in the seamless coordination between design and construction execution — particularly in high-rise buildings, where precision is critical. Her leadership style is grounded in professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to mentoring the next generation of architects.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Iliana is deeply devoted to her family and personal passions. Married for 38 years, she shares both her life and profession with her husband, who is also an architect. Together, they enjoy traveling and exploring new places. She is a proud mother and grandmother, currently writing a children’s book for her grandchildren, set for release in April 2026.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I' ever received was: "Trust your voice and stand confidently in your work."
As a woman in a highly demanding and technical field, this advice became a guiding principle. It reminded me that strength comes not only from knowledge, but from believing in your value and expressing it with clarity and confidence.
Throughout my career, I’ve learned that leadership is not about being the loudest in the room, but about being consistent, prepared, and intentional. It’s about leading with integrity, supporting others, and creating space for growth — both for yourself and those around you.
This advice empowered me to lead with confidence, stay grounded in my values, and inspire others to do the same.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in your voice, even before others do.
Architecture and construction are demanding fields, but they also offer incredible opportunities to lead, create, and make a lasting impact. Be prepared, stay curious, and never stop learning — your knowledge will become your strongest foundation.
Don’t be afraid to take space, ask questions, and stand firm in your decisions. Confidence grows with experience, but it starts with trusting yourself.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in our field today is managing increasing complexity, from evolving regulations to fast project delivery and advance technologies.
At the same time, this creates a powerful opportunity to lead through innovation, precision, and strong coordination. Those who can adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards are defining the future of the industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, discipline, and accountability.
Professionally, these principles guide how I lead, make decisions, and deliver results with consistency and precision. I believe that trust is built through responsibility, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.
In my personal life, I carry those same values through the way I support my family, stay grounded, and continue growing as a person.
