Her Interview

Ten minutes with India

01What do you attribute your success to?

I never wanted to be bad at anything. I wanted to always approach anything that I was interested in and put my best foot forward and never come halfway. My success is attributed to the fact that I do not do anything halfway. Resilience from overcoming an abusive marriage and raising four children has also played a key role.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You are never too old to add to your repertoire. Don't ever think that your time has run out. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep doing.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stay focused. There are going to be a lot of distractions. Minimize the distractions. Believe in yourself. Don't get in your own way. Do not lose sight of your goal.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is helping those who are not tech-savvy to understand the value of when things evolve. Change is never easy, but those changes are necessary. Be open to change because evolving and transitioning is a part of growth.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity in my work, to always put my best foot forward and show exactly what I know how to do, but also be open to what I'm willing to learn. In my personal life, you are stronger than you know. You can come through the worst possible things.
