Dr. Ingrid Tucker, Ed.D., M.P.A.
Dr. Ingrid Tucker is a bold and visionary leader in community development and education, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Madison Park Development Corporation, where she also held the role of Acting CEO from July 2024 to August 2025. With over two decades of leadership experience, Dr. Tucker has dedicated her career to creating equitable access to affordable housing, youth development programs, and educational opportunities for underserved communities in Boston. Her work integrates strategic planning, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to empowering families and youth.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Tucker served as Head of School at Cambridge Montessori School, leading a dynamic urban independent school with 225 students from early childhood through 8th grade. During her tenure, she successfully guided the school through strategic planning initiatives, dual reaccreditation, and campus expansion, fostering a culture of academic excellence and holistic development. Earlier, she led Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center, a tuition-free school for low-income middle school girls, overseeing fundraising, operational management, and educational programming. Her career in education reflects a long-standing dedication to mentorship, equity, and community transformation.
Dr. Tucker holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from Boston College Lynch School of Education, a Master of Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University, complemented by an exchange program at Spelman College. Fluent in English, she combines her academic expertise with practical leadership experience to drive measurable impact in the communities she serves. A passionate advocate for youth and families, she also channels her values of integrity, empathy, and service into her pastoral work, mentoring, and philanthropic initiatives, consistently demonstrating a commitment to transformative leadership and community empowerment.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities is creating sustainable, equitable access to affordable housing while also addressing the holistic needs of families, including youth development and social support programs. A challenge is balancing limited resources with the growing demand for these critical services.
