About Iqra
She is a dedicated rheumatologist, health tech innovator, and academic contributor with a strong commitment to advancing digital health, medical education, and patient care. Currently serving as a Rheumatologist at AtlantiCare, she provides comprehensive rheumatologic care to patients. She is also a Co-Founder of Docs In Tech, a health technology initiative focused on leveraging innovation to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. She serves as an Expert Peer Reviewer for BMJ Digital Health & AI, contributing her clinical and research expertise to the evaluation of cutting-edge digital health and artificial intelligence research. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and her Residency at Maimonides Medical Center. She holds a degree in Life Sciences and French from the University of Toronto, where she was active as a Peer Health Educator and member of the university's French and Badminton clubs. She is recognized as a passionate, forward-thinking, and patient-centered physician who bridges clinical practice and health technology to shape the future of medicine.
