Irena Horodynska

I have been working in my field for 10 years, with my current position for the last 2 years. I work full-time, 10 hours per day, 4 days a week, with people that are on probation, using my master's degree in criminal justice. Throughout my career, I have always worked with challenging people, either kids or adults, in the field of behavioral health, and I conveyed that with either art or music. I do some artistic activity with people that are diagnosed, and also children that are diagnosed. I taught music in the past, and 80% of my students were students with some behavioral health challenges. I also did art activities with adults who were diagnosed with either bipolar, depression, or other challenges. My previous work included behavioral health, artistic behavioral health, music therapy, and teaching. Outside of work, I participate in art events and festivals where I play music and exhibit my artwork. I also have an online gallery on Fine Art America.
