About Irene
She is a construction estimating and project management professional with experience in electrical estimating, plumbing support, landscape estimating, contracts assistance, and construction project coordination. She currently works as an Electrical Estimator/PM at LMS Electric & Plumbing. Previously, she held estimating, contracts, and project management roles with American Landscape, Stonemark Construction Management, CAS Building Specialists, and M Luis Construction. She studied at Montgomery College and The Universities at Shady Grove.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Passion for the work, being detailed and careful, pride in the work presented, caring about coworkers and their families, and creating a positive office environment.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always double-check everything to be detailed and accurate, protect the company by ensuring no mistakes in contracts or plans.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Listen more than you speak, because people are watching and taking note of everything you do, especially as a woman.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Trust, where your word has value and meaning, clear and effective communication, and having fun while building strong relationships with coworkers.
