About Irene
Dr. Irene Grant has practiced in the infectious disease field since 1985. She founded her private practice, Integrated Medicine Group, in 1996. Her work focuses on infectious diseases, especially those affecting immunocompromised patients such as cancer and AIDS cases from her training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She also incorporates Chinese medicine, which she studied after personal health experiences, and has become an expert in indoor mold exposure and its health impacts. Grant has held positions as assistant professor of medicine at Einstein and assistant clinical professor of medicine at New York Medical. She belongs to the Infectious Disease Society of America, Infectious Disease Society of New York, International Society for Human and Animal Mycosis, and World Mycotoxin. Her honors include being named outstanding medical resident at Montefiore, inclusion in the first edition of New York Magazine Best Doctors in New York, and Who's Who since 2018. Grant has authored a book titled Indoor Molds: Most Dangerous Health Threats and a journal article on adverse surgical outcomes related to mold exposure in pregnant women. Her mission centers on training physicians to recognize and address illnesses from contaminated buildings.
