Ten minutes with Irina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a continuous drive and desire to learn and grow, along with all the mentors I met along the way. They may have been mentors by profession, or life situations, or people who taught me something disguised as a regular life circumstance. Now I'm understanding that those were mentors.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was in 5th grade, though I didn't know it was career advice at the time. Someone told me I am such a happy, joyous person and to stay who you are, always stay who you are. Now, 30 years later, I came back to the same principles, and when people ask me what I like about myself, I say I like my joyous heart. This was the right thing that led me back to where I am today.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My goal is to help executive women, hardworking women, and mothers who built a beautiful life but now don't recognize themselves in it. They checked the box, maybe married their high school sweetheart, have kids and a career, but don't feel good about themselves. The challenge is it's not easy for them to even notice something is wrong, leading to stress, overwhelm, burnout, and health crises. The opportunity is reminding them that when they return back to who they are, the noise falls away, the fog lifts, clarity comes in, and they can focus on what matters most and create with more impact.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, quality, time, love, and being kind in expressing love to the people around us that we cherish are most important. I have a passion for health and longevity and fitness, physical fitness, being active. Experiential is where it's at for me, feeling things, experiencing things, not just reading about them, even though I have a love of learning.
