About Isabel
Isabel Aristy serves as Assistant Principal of organization, second in charge at her school within the education sector. With 16 years of experience, she began as a graphic design major at New York City College of Technology while working full time at a gas station. An internship led her to a career and technical teaching program that allowed her to combine teaching and design. She became a full-time teacher, graduated the program in four years, and helped co-found and certify a graphic design program at her school. She completed her master's at Lehman College and advanced to assistant principal, where she oversees operations and advocates for positive school culture, climate, and student affairs while boosting college and career readiness.
