As Director of Sales and Marketing at W South Beach, she has built a distinguished career centered on brand positioning, hotel launches, rebranding initiatives, and revenue growth. Her expertise spans some of the industry's most prestigious hospitality brands, where she has consistently delivered exceptional business performance while elevating guest experiences. A native of Costa Rica, Isabel broadened her industry perspective by pursuing studies abroad, laying the foundation for her global approach to hospitality leadership.
Throughout her career, Isabel has become recognized for her ability to transform brands, develop high-performing teams, and cultivate long-term partnerships with clients, travel advisors, and industry stakeholders. I attribute my success to building strong, accountable teams. I lead with transparency by clearly communicating our goals, expectations, and vision, enabling everyone to stay aligned and perform at their best.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to immerse themselves in their brand's culture, continuously expand their knowledge, and invest in building strong professional networks. Pursue certifications, embrace opportunities to learn about new technologies and industry trends, and always focus on enhancing the client experience. Most importantly, stay curious, keep learning, and listen—it's one of the most valuable skills you can develop.
