About Isabella
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in molecular cell biology and public health. Right now I'm a pre-med student working as a Dermatology Clinical Research Coordinator at Hopkins. Before this role, I worked as a research technician for almost a year at the Asthma and Allergy Center at Hopkins, because I wanted to get more research experience. As an undergrad, I was doing research work in ophthalmology. In my current position, I love what I'm doing because I get to see patients and I get to still do work within the lab. I primarily work with patients who have hidradenitis suppurativa and amputees. I'm planning to apply to medical school next cycle and matriculate in two years. I'm also possibly planning on pursuing a master's in biochemistry while I work, starting in August. Being the first in my family to graduate from college was a big accomplishment in itself, looking back on it, but I'm just looking forward to the future.
