Ten minutes with Isabella
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to expanding on my family's educational foundation and knowing my why. My father was the first in our family to earn a master's degree, and I am proud to build upon that legacy while helping more people through my work in dentistry, wellness, technology, and service. Knowing what motivates me to help others gives me the drive to continue growing and making an impact.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice is to understand your why and what motivates you to help others. That motivation will carry you through your career and help you make decisions aligned with your purpose rather than others' expectations.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know your why and never lose sight of it. Make your health and well-being a priority, do not be afraid to explore different interests, stay disciplined, continue learning, and believe that you belong in every room your hard work has prepared you to enter.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities is the ability to bring health, technology, and wellness together in ways that create more personalized and accessible care. From 3D technologies and biomedical research to corporate wellness and preventive health, innovation is creating new possibilities for how we understand and support the individual. I am especially excited about expanding wellness initiatives for people in desk-based careers and helping make mental and physical well-being a more intentional part of everyday life.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Compassion, equity, discipline, and helping underserved populations are most important. I approach each role making sure patients and clients have good quality tools for their mental and physical health.
