Ten minutes with Isabella
01What do you attribute your success to?
I credit much of my success to my faith and sense of calling. My focus is ensuring people are seen, heard, and included—especially as AI evolves. I’m concerned about those who lack access, skills, or desire to use AI at its fullest. My goal is to make sure technology uplifts everyone, giving all a voice and place in this changing world.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I usually share three pieces of advice with young women entering this industry. First, if you’re in college, take electives in business—understanding how to launch or manage a business is invaluable, even if you want to work independently. I wish I had done that during my liberal studies program. Second, don’t worry about what others think; most people aren’t paying as much attention to you as you imagine. And third, as a woman of faith, I trust in what I can’t see more than what I can. That perspective gives me the courage to take risks, embrace bold ideas, and bring authenticity to my work—even when it means breaking convention or speaking candidly.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI represents both the greatest opportunity and challenge in my field today. It has the power to scale learning and create entirely new pathways—compressing years of experience into accessible knowledge. At the same time, it raises urgent questions about equitable access, as we must ensure that large segments of the population are not left behind in this technological shift.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are faith, inclusion, and community-building. I am deeply committed to ensuring that individuals are seen, heard, and given meaningful access to opportunities.
