She advises learning to delegate and encourages young women not to be intimidated by previously male-dominated fields like fintech. She is passionate about community involvement, including volunteering and donating to food banks, supporting the American Red Cross, and her participation in the Girl Power Leadership Academy during high school.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Isabelle

01What do you attribute your success to?

Honestly, my work ethic. I have always prided myself on being very good at my job. Even my first job, when I was young, I was working at a restaurant, and within 3 months of being there, I became the lead trainer. I trained all the incoming managers and team members. So I really just pride myself on knowledge.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think the best career advice that I've received so far is learn to delegate. And you can't be everything for everyone. You have to have people that you trust to help you.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To not be intimidated. Like, I work in fintech, which previously was a male-dominated industry. I don't believe it is anymore. But don't be intimidated, don't be afraid to go for those quote male-dominated industries. I've worked in them my entire life. I've worked in kitchens, rock climbing gyms. We kick ass a little bit more, I think.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say the biggest opportunities are just growth. I think with fintech, there's no glass ceiling. At least we haven't figured out that there's a glass ceiling yet. I think that there is just so much opportunity for growth, and I think if people are able to, they should hop on the ship.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I think professionally, one of the biggest values that I try to hold is A, hard work gets you far. And B, you have to play as hard as you work, or you're gonna burn out.
