Her Interview
Ten minutes with Isha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of strong ownership, continuous learning, and people-centric leadership. I focus on understanding problems deeply, translating ambiguity into structured execution, and building trust with my teams and stakeholders. Consistently investing in quality, process improvement, and capability building has helped me deliver sustainable results at scale.
I owe my success to my mentors I worked with along my professional career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Focus on doing meaningful work consistently — growth will follow.”
That advice taught me to invest in execution, learning, and long-term impact rather than chasing quick wins.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering this industry to trust their competence and take up space early. Don’t wait to feel “fully ready” before speaking up or taking on responsibility — growth often comes from learning while doing. Focus on building strong fundamentals, ask questions without hesitation, and seek feedback actively.
Equally important, invest in clear communication and visibility. Your work deserves to be seen, so learn to articulate your impact with confidence. Finally, build a support network — mentors, peers, and allies — and remember that consistency and resilience matter more than perfection.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in our field right now is scaling AI operations without compromising quality. As AI programs grow rapidly, requirements evolve faster than processes, and teams must adapt while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, accountability, empathy, and growth.
In my work, integrity and accountability guide how I lead — being transparent, owning outcomes, and doing what’s right even when it’s difficult. Empathy helps me build trust with teams, understand different perspectives, and create environments where people can do their best work. Growth keeps me curious and open to learning, especially in fast-changing spaces like AI and technology.
In my personal life, the same values apply. I believe in showing up consistently for people, being honest and kind, and continuously evolving as a person. Balance, resilience, and gratitude also play a big role in helping me stay grounded and focused on what truly matters.
