Her Story

About Itishree

I have been working in IT for 22 years, starting as a developer and moving through team leading, management, and program management before reaching my current practice sales role. I specialize in SAP ERP technology, which I have been working with since 2003. In my role at Infosys Limited, where I have been for 15 years, I serve as a go-to-market leader helping North America clients with their digital transformation journeys. My work focuses on SAP transformations, S4 HANA conversions, clean core solutions, and AI-driven optimization. I build proposals and solutions for customers modernizing their application platforms, supporting them through assessment, transformation, and post-migration phases. My most notable achievements are being seen as a role model by my team members and building such strong trust with customers that they consider me an extension of their own teams, even though I work for a different organization.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Itishree

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think I am still growing and have a lot to achieve. Success for me is not about being satisfied or saying you have achieved everything - it is a ladder, and I am still climbing. I believe success is about being happy all the time and being able to balance your personal and professional life without impacting either of them. As long as you can maintain that balance, then I think you are successful. I do not see myself as having reached the end goal, but rather as continuously growing and learning.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To be a leader, you should have clarity in your mind. You should know what you are trying to achieve, and you should be compassionate. You should be a good leader with passion, passionate with a lot of knowledge. That can help you to achieve all your goals, and people will also follow you. You should have clarity in your mind and take decisions - do not delay. If you keep thinking, it does not solve the problem. If you want to act, just act, and then take ownership of that.
