About Ivett
Ivett Hankoczy, PMP, CSM, ITIL, CSA, CAPDM, is the Founder of IH Agency LLC, an IT consulting firm based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is a seasoned IT and AI Product Leader with nearly two decades of experience delivering enterprise technology solutions. Her areas of expertise include IT service management, change, release, incident, problem, and asset management, as well as ServiceNow implementation, process optimization, Agile delivery, product management, and AI consulting. Through IH Agency, she helps organizations identify practical opportunities for AI adoption, intelligent automation, and workflow improvement, with an emphasis on solutions that are both effective and sustainable.
Throughout her career, Hankoczy has led complex technology programs and enterprise implementations across organizations including Navy Federal Credit Union, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Marriott International, and CDW. She has built ServiceNow platforms from the ground up on three separate occasions, establishing standard operating procedures, developing policy documentation, optimizing processes, and ensuring the appropriate handling of sensitive data. Her leadership has contributed to measurable results, including 99% on-time delivery, 90% efficiency gains, and an 80% improvement in data accuracy across multi-million-dollar portfolios. She earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science in Hungary, where she was among the first students to study the discipline, and later earned a B.S. in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Strayer University.
Hankoczy attributes her success in a traditionally male-dominated technology field to maintaining a positive outlook, believing in her abilities, taking ownership of challenges, and approaching every problem with the conviction that a solution can be found. She values maintaining a healthy separation between her personal and professional life, thinking creatively, and refusing to allow personal challenges to define her capabilities or future. Passionate about mentoring and empowering others, particularly young women, she encourages emerging professionals to speak up, ask questions, recognize their value, and confidently contribute in every room they enter.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being positive, believing in myself, and knowing that every problem has a solution. I take ownership of projects, dive in, and make it happen rather than giving up. I grew up in a male-dominated environment and learned not to be intimidated.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Separate your personal life from your professional life. Every problem has a solution. Stay positive, think outside the box, and do not let stress overwhelm you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in yourself, stay positive, think creatively, and never allow being the only woman in the room to make you feel that you do not belong there. Ask questions, do not be afraid to speak up.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence represents one of the greatest opportunities in technology, particularly for organizations willing to rethink how people, processes, and technology work together. The challenge is turning AI from an exciting concept into practical, responsible solutions that genuinely improve business outcomes—and Ivett’s experience simplifying complex enterprise systems gives her a unique perspective on making that transition successful. At the same time, she sees an important opportunity to encourage more women to step into technology and leadership, use their voices confidently, and help shape the future rather than simply adapt to it.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Positivity, believing in yourself, integrity, politeness, and valuing time and family. I refuse to let health challenges define me.
