About Jacci
Jacci Maxstead serves in mergers and acquisitions at Mettler-Toledo. She began her direct involvement in the role in January following four years of project work on the acquisition side. Her expertise centers on managing talent and problem solving, skills honed through prior experience scheduling field service technicians. In that capacity she led a team of eight direct reports overseeing more than sixty technicians while coordinating priorities across customers, technicians, and business needs. Maxstead transitioned into acquisition integration by helping newly acquired businesses align their scheduling processes with enterprise standards, requiring her to understand their operations, people, and systems. She holds an associate degree in business management earned in 2021 and a bachelor's degree in human resource management earned in 2024. Maxstead attributes her professional growth to humble beginnings and the belief that dedicated effort leads to the life one desires.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my humble beginnings and being taught that you can have the life you want if you work for it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was to know where you want to go and what you want to do, because if you don't know, others will plan your career for you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women to be approachable, to be curious, to understand your strengths and weaknesses, and know what you want to achieve so that you can identify areas of strength and what areas to improve upon in your weaknesses.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges or opportunities in my field are change management, system migration with quality, as well as stakeholder engagement and communication.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, sincerity, and transparency.
